Accessibility

SoundsGood intends this site to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or reduced-motion settings.

The standard we are working to

We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We do not yet claim conformance, because no independent audit has been carried out.

What is in place

• A skip link to the main content on every page.
• Full keyboard access to the navigation, including dropdown menus, which close on Escape and return focus to the control that opened them.
• Semantic headings and landmark regions, so page structure is navigable assistively.
• Decorative motion, including background video and film grain, is disabled entirely when your device requests reduced motion.
• Content reflows without horizontal scrolling down to a 390 pixel viewport.

Known gaps

• No independent accessibility audit has been carried out.
• Colour contrast has not been formally measured across every combination.
• Alternative text is still being written for some imagery.
• Video content does not yet carry captions or transcripts.

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, email info@soundsgoodpresents.com describing what you were trying to do and the assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within five business days, and will tell you honestly whether and when we can address it.
